William Garrison

William’s practice is grounded in manual therapies that work with the muscles, connective tissues, and joints. He uses techniques from pain-relieving neuro-muscular trigger point and myo-fascial connective tissue therapies, as well as relaxing Swedish massage. He also brings in techniques from acupressure, shiatsu, and other energy flow practices to enable the most effective sessions.

William is a graduate of the Finger Lakes School of Massage, and the owner of Jolly Buddha Massage, located at the Historic Clinton House, downtown Ithaca.
Through postgraduate training, William has expanded his practice to include massage tailored for pregnancy, and deep tissue techniques for addressing conditions affecting the neck and jaw, such as TMJ Syndrome.
